Call Center Representative

Location: Little Elm, TX
Department: Sales/Marketing
Reports To: Sales Support Supervisor
Salary: $18/hour

Job Description

SUMMARY

Assists sales team and customers, and records sales team leads’ and updates to Salesforce for assigned Territory Representatives as well as current/active customer service information by performing the following duties: (Some customer service functions as well, as time allows).

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Represents the Company in cold calling and current customer inquiries, requests for product samples, literature, and document information about the lead program process.

• Responsible for inputting, maintaining, retrieving lead data and Territory Representatives in-person visits to Salesforce.

• Assisting assigned sales representatives with getting product and/ or materials and assigning leads by sales territory.

• Sending samples and or materials to customers at the request of sales representatives.

• Assist with marketing projects such as direct mail pieces and phone campaigns for the promotion of

Company products and setting up Safety Point Magazine for all leads as assigned to the company process

• Independently interacting with the sales team, handles leads and assigns to sales territory.

• Independently interact with customers and handle referrals to designated distributors for the purchase of

Company products.

• Refers complaints to designated department for investigation.

• Researches and generates sales leads, advises Territory Sales Representatives of sales opportunities, corresponds and provides follow-up on behalf of the Company.

• Represents the Company in direct contact with customers to ensure continued satisfaction and promote ongoing business relationships.

• Identifies and advises the Sales Support Supervisor of issues that should be addressed at a higher level.

• Independently identifies deadlines and implements methods to comply with responsibilities in a timely fashion meeting company KPI goals.

• Ability to interact productively with other employees and devise methods for resolving stressful or difficult situations.

• Coordinate and support product fair and trade show activities by ensuring that registration requirements are met and that product and supply requests are shipped to the appropriate location.

• Responsible for complying with Company policies and procedures and promoting compliance in other employees, including, but not limited to: Quality System Regulations, safety/housekeeping, and Quality Management System.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED required. Basic computer and office equipment skills preferred. Good work history record. Previous customer service experience preferred.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; stoop, bend, use hands, reach and climb stairs. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Use of vision is required for document/report inspection/analysis and visual observation of a computer monitor. Use of hearing and speech are necessary for telephone work. Ability to operate standard business and office equipment such as adding machines, copiers, calculators, typewriters, fax machines, etc.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Lighting is usually fluorescent. Heating/Air Conditioning/Ventilation is adjusted to accommodate the general office population.
